As the story goes, she came out singing. Emily's led her own bands as well as sung with banjo trance SF act Sexfresh, Burning Man's Funkmobile, the NYC cover act Aki is the Glue, Stax Records soul band The Get It! and more.
Currently, she is writing and recording songs with bassist/producer Tim Lefebvre for their new project, Angelenos. The pair released the album "Domestic Blitz" in 2011.
Emily has done numerous sessions for other artists like Moby, Will Pharaoh, Mary Segato, Sizzlax, as well as singing for projects with NBC, WB Interactive and Blue Man Group. You can hear much of her artistic and commercial singing work in the Music page.
Emily collaborated with Moby on music for his Destroyed album. She cowrote and sang "The Low Hum" which appeared on the record. She also sang another song "Breakdown" which came out on the Destroyed Deluxe edition.
As the name would suggest, Angelenos is a Los Angeles-based electronic collective headed by bassist/producer Tim Lefebvre (Tedeschi Trucks Band, Mark Guiliana's BEAT Music, KNOWER) and singer/songwriter Emily Zuzik (Moby). Following their 2010 album, Domestic Blitz, the two re-teamed for a new sonic adventure which will be coming out soon.
Additional players include Gary Novak, Nick Littlemore (Empire of the Sun), Lyle Workman, Peter Adams, Jason Linder, David Siegel, Marc Guiliana, KNOWER and more.
"When in Rome..." is Emily's motto about living in Los Angeles and New York. She's found herself in front of the camera in cities where movies and TV like to be made. Why not do it?!? A small gallery of some of her work is here.
Emily has collaborated with Blue Man Group numerous times over the past 10 years including appearing as a lip syncing mouth on the Rock Tour, singing on developmental projects like Saturday Morning Puppet Club and The Ride, and most notably, performing as a Zuzu Singer with them at 2 sold-out shows at The Hollywood Bowl.

Yes, Emily was once a Bond Girl for the Penguin Paperback edition of James Bond's Thunderball. While this edition is out of print, one can find it on eBay.
While she occasionally plays one on TV, Emily is actually a Rocker Mom in real life! She's documented a bit of the journey in her blog.
